Description

An unglazed clay doll in the shape of a monkey made at the foot of Mt. Koba in Kumamoto Prefecture.
This is a rice eating monkey who is eating rice without thinking.
Born from a legend handed down about 1,300 years ago, Konohazaru is made by kneading clay with just your fingers without using a mold, and is used as a talisman for warding off evil, disaster, marital harmony, and the prosperity of descendants.
